The Friends of The Captains

Established on August 1, 2011, the Friends Of The Captains, is a not-for-profit association created to foster support through charitable donations for the programs and projects of The Captains Golf Course, a recreation facility owned and operated by the Town of Brewster, Massachusetts. The Captains provides low cost recreation activities for residents of the Town of Brewster and area communities. Among its activities The Captains provides free use of its facilities to the girls’ and boys’ golf programs of the Nauset Regional School District, including the towns of Brewster, Orleans, Eastham and Wellfleet, Massachusetts; provides to all youth, golf opportunities at a nominal $10.00 fee; hosts charity events that, to date, have raised approximately two million dollars ($2,000,000.00) for area charities; serves as host to the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championships, also at a nominal fee.
